Privacy policy
Your privacy matters to me. Here is a plain-language explanation of what this site collects, why, and what your rights are.
Last updated:
This policy applies to dorharamati.com (the "site"), operated by Dor Haramati, Web Designer & Developer ("I" or "the site owner"). It was written in the spirit of the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 1981, including Amendment 13, which came into force in August 2025. By using the site you agree to this policy.
1. What information is collected?
Information you choose to share – when you fill in the contact form: full name, phone number and, optionally, email address, the service you're interested in and your message.
Technical information – as with any website, the hosting server automatically logs basic technical data (such as IP address, browser and device type, and pages viewed) for security, abuse prevention and proper operation.
The site does not collect sensitive information, does not ask for payment details, and is not intended to collect information from minors.
2. How is it used?
- To get back to you about your enquiry, answer questions and arrange an intro call.
- To prepare a quote and provide the service you asked for.
- To secure the site, prevent spam and improve the experience.
- To comply with the law.
I won't send you marketing emails without your explicit, separate consent. Sharing your details in the form is not legally required, but without them I can't get back to you.
3. Cookies and analytics
At the time of this update, the site does not use advertising or tracking cookies and does not embed third-party advertising tools. It only stores the accessibility preferences you choose in your browser (Local Storage) – that information stays on your device and is never sent to me. If analytics or advertising tools are added in the future, this policy will be updated and, where needed, your consent requested.
4. Who is it shared with?
I don't sell, rent or trade personal information. It is only shared with service providers that help run the site, and only as much as needed:
- Hosting – Vercel Inc. (servers outside Israel).
- Sending enquiries by email – Resend, an email delivery service that forwards the form to my inbox.
- Email inbox – the email provider where enquiries are received.
Some providers store data outside Israel, subject to the applicable regulations on transferring data abroad. Information may also be disclosed if required by law or by order of a competent authority.
5. How long is it kept?
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle them and for the business relationship, and afterwards for the period required by law (for example for bookkeeping). Enquiries that didn't lead to working together are deleted within 24 months at the latest.
6. Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), with security headers and protection against spam and bots, and enquiry details are not stored in a site database. Access to the information is limited to the site owner. Still, no online security is perfect, and complete protection against intrusion cannot be guaranteed.
7. Your rights
- To review the information held about you.
- To ask for information that is inaccurate, incomplete, unclear or outdated to be corrected.
- To ask for your information to be deleted, subject to legal retention duties.
- To be removed from any mailing list you may have joined.
To exercise these rights, contact me using the details in section 9. I will respond within 30 days.
8. Links to other websites
The site links to external services (such as WhatsApp and client websites). Their use is governed by their own privacy policies, which I don't control.
9. Privacy contact
For questions, requests or complaints about privacy: Dor Haramati, phone +972 54-792-5730, email dorharamati@gmail.com. If you're not satisfied, you may also contact the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. The binding version is the one published on the site, and the last update date appears at the top of the page.
